It is August 2008. We made a trip to England and visited Trevor’s Childhood place and his schools.

Trevor Page’s life in his earlier days

He was born in his hospital in December 1, 1941, in Guilford, England

267 years later, this hospital is still as usual, no change

3You can see the name of the hospital in Guilford

4He also spent his childhood in this townhouse. Those days, his parents were working for the International Shipping Company in Africa. He had to stay with his grand aunt.

5So many years passed, the street has been there as usual, no Change.

6He always remembers that it is the name of the street, he played with his Childhood kids

7When he was teenage, their family rented this little house in this Hayling Island and lived there for a few years.

8. Everyday, he had to spend at least 45 minutes to ride bicycle to go to the school, no mater it was raining, hot or cold. First, he rode bike from the home to this port, then took ferry in this Hayling Island to other side of the city, called Portsmouth. From that port to the school, it has at least another 20 miles. It was a hardship, but he thought in those days, that was a daily life. The life supposed to be like that.

10Interesting thing is that after also many years, all those facilities are still remaining the same as before.

11This is the famous school he attended, called St. John College, in Portsmouth.   He had special memory of this school as he was beaten up by is teachers, (they called brothers as it is a private school) almost everyday. He scared to tell his parents. If he told, his mum would beat him again as she thought kid must did something wrong in the School. Those brothers used the rope with knob on it beating the kid if they were naughty. One day, when he was beaten by his brother, afterwards wacked up by another senior brother Moris again. He got badly wounded and could not attend the school for 3 weeks. The brother made a home visitor to his house. His parents appreciated the brother’s visit instead of complaining how ruthless their kid was treated in the school. I was told that this was the normal way of education in those days.  No body complains. I was shocked and could not believe it was in England.

12He was very active in the school, played in the stage in this theater when he was in St. John College.

13The theatre building is the same as before, no change

14Afterwards, he joined the Navy. This is the campus he spent for 4 years.

15He feels proud of this school as he received again tough, serious, life support education in this place.

16This is his sister with him. In those days, his sister was famous ballet dancer in Royal Ballet company in London.

17His sister was a very pretty girl when she was young.

18This is their usual favorite place to spend their time in Pub in those days.

19The Pub is facing the harbor. It is very romantic place to date girls as I was told.
