不論是反對他還是支持他，可以確定的是，99.9%的人都沒有真的和川普他本人來往過或長時間的交談過。大部份的人最多隻是在電視上或竟選大會上看到他的一言半語，對於了解他本人到底如何，私底下是甚麽樣子，工作水平如何，難免會像是霧裏看花，不夠真實。
以下這些人真的了解川普他本人。這些人或者在他手下作過事，或者是他的朋友老師，對於川普有足夠的第一手了解。這些是他們對川普的評語：

現實也相當符合以上這些人的評價。川普手下的公司企業大多經營不佳。媒體從他的稅單中發現，川普整個集團的經營，在 2000 -2018 年實際收入為 負1.74 億美元。從 2000 年開始計算，川普的所有高爾夫場地總計的虧損是 3.16 億美元。他的的生意和房產基本上都在虧損。他本人還欠了銀行＄４億多美金，在幾年內到期。（見注15）
他經手過的眾多產品或公司大多失敗 －
川普航空－倒閉，川普牛排－倒閉，川普貸款－倒閉，川普雜誌－倒閉，川普大學－倒閉（還賠了$25個million）。Trump Taj Mahal －破產，Trump’s Castle －破產，Trump Plaza Casinos －破產，Trump Plaza Hotel －破產，Trump Hotels and Casinos Resorts －破產， Trump Entertainment Resorts －破產。（見注16）
他打的貿易戰，造成了美國本身損失。紐約美聯儲的估計是貿易戰（到2020年）至少造成美國公司損失$1.7 trillion (不是 billion)。（見注17）
美國的國債從他2017年上台至今，３年多上漲了約$7個 trillion，增速為曆史最高。（見注18）
近八百位經濟學家（包括今年的諾貝爾獎得主）前幾天簽了聯名信，說川普的經濟政策根本不通，要求他下台。（見注19）
在他領導下，新冠病毒 的處理更是糟糕。美國的新冠感染人數是８５０萬，死亡人數是２２萬，遠遠超過任何西方已開發國家。甚至還比不上伊拉克或南非（見注20）。出現這種情況，56%的美國人認為是美國政府處理不善造成的。（見注21）
這些成績，和認識他的人對他的評價倒是相當的符合。
