劇中一曲《回憶》（Memory），已經成為音樂劇音樂經典，該曲被多達150位藝術家錄製，可見其受歡迎的地步。該劇原版錄音帶銷售量達到兩百萬張，並獲格蘭美最佳演出錄音獎。
