英文版Tai Chi Chuan 已正式出版,為了方便用手機或iPad閱讀或模仿動作,電子書版也同時出版了。

薛中天的 “太極拳”英文版現在已正式出版了。筆者是在分子遺傳學領域的一位出色的科學家,曾在美國,丹麥和瑞典工作。自20世紀六十年代,他已在中國學會了太極拳,並不停地練習太極拳至今。為了滿足他周圍的太極愛好者的要求,他在瑞典的隆德,一個大學城的體操和健康中心Gerdahallen以及在其他幾個場館辦太極拳訓練班多年。

這本書是由中國在瑞典的太極教練自己寫的第一個英文版本。在這本書中,他使用的圖片連同文字展現了自己獨特的,結構緊湊,更簡單和更流暢的太極式樣的每一個動作。這本書應用了豐富的中國文化元素作為動作的聯想。

Xue Zhongtian's book "Tai Chi Chuan" is the first English edition written by a Chinese Tai Chi instructor himself in Sweden. The author is a leading scientist in the field of molecular genetics who has worked in the United States, Denmark and Sweden. He has learned Tai Chi Chuan in China since the 1960s and has been practicing Tai Chi Chuan continuously till now. To meet the demands of the Tai Chi enthusiasts around him, he held Tai Chi training classes for many years in Lund, Sweden, in Gerdahallen, a gym, training and health center, and in several other venues.

The pictures and words he uses in this book show every movement of his unique, compact, simple and smooth Tai Chi style. This book uses rich Chinese cultural elements as imagination of the movements.

The book also describes the many benefits of Tai Chi for human health and longevity, especially including psychological health benefits. Tai Chi Chuan moves slowly, and the combination of exercise and breathing gradually deepens the breathing, which will improve the circulation of Qi and blood in the body.
