* my free lunch at the hospital - I didn't want to miss the doctors visiting him ~

     

 

           【An Unordinary Day】

I had a morning run near lake bushes

Made lunch, did laundry and dishes

Pulled out weeds and trimmed roses

 

Took dad to emergency room due to seizure

Posted grades at hospital family lounge corner

For the boys at home, I ordered takeout dinner

 

Taught class on risk management at night

Back to Intensive Care Unit to care for dad

"Thanks for everything......" he said

"What is your name?" he asked me instead

 

While he slept peacefully with rosy cheeks 

I wrote this poem at ICU by his bedside

to remember this day in life, full of drama

The sun has kept things going alright
