西門慶收到官涵， 在任不貪， 齊民戴仰， 由副轉正， 大喜；

上司夏老總見涵， 升指揮官， 遠調小鎮， 明升暗降， 無語。

 

兩人受邀赴京， 參加全國高官大會， 權豪雲集， 蜂屯蟻聚， 西門慶居五級之上， 與夏總非同類人也。 西門慶朝拜中央長老朱太尉，結交新僚，禮物雄厚。

 

Ximen receives an official letter, stating that he conducts no bribery, he is being loved by people, therefore, he is promoted to the position where his boss Xia is, Ximen is overjoyed. While Xia also gets promoted, but as a Commander to be relocated to a small town, Xia is speechless.

 

The two are invited to the Capitol for the national conversion of high officials.  Ximen’s ranking is above the 5^th, not at the same level with Xia anymore.  Ximen meets the Majesty Zhu, and gives away the expensive presents to the new top circle of officials.
