西門慶死後三年， 春梅應邀初訪月娘。

 

春梅滿頭珠翠，大紅通袖， 四獸朝仰麒麟袍， 翠藍十錦百花裙，紅白綾高底鞋，  四大轎子，軍人喝道。

月娘稀疏金翠，盛裝縞素， 金塞領子白綾襖， 淡翠段織金托裙，玉色段高底鞋，

嫂子陪伴，稱梅為姐。

 

春梅更換綠錦妝花襖， 丁香色遍地金裙。遊花園， 想金蓮，臥雲亭台石洞口，葡萄架和藏春閣， 提到那螺甸床， 誰知月娘家缺銀賣了，早知如此， 春梅會高價買走！ 點曲子， 思金蓮，從前與你共綢謬，誰想你竟把我丟。

 

 

Ximen’s 1^st wife invited Mei for dinner three years after Ximen’s death.

 

Mei wears splendid dress, jewelry all over, bright red gown, animal-print cape, silk shoes;  while the 1^st wife of Ximen wears plain dress, with little jewelry.

 

Mei changes into another dress once she is in the house.  She insists to visit the garden, Jin’s room, finds out Jin’s bed sold for money, Mei could buy for high price! Then Mei picks out song for dinner, everything reminds Mei of Jin, cannot  believe, you left me!
