仆人苗青劫財殺主潛逃， 夏提刑（相當於山東司法廳長）下令捉拿， 西門慶（相當於山東司法副廳長）從情婦王六兒得到殺人犯托情費50兩，不屑一顧。 當受賄砝碼達到1000兩， 西門慶與夏提刑平分， 殺人犯死裏逃生。

Miao was the servant who murdered his master and ran away with a fortune.  He was wanted by Xia, a Judge whose position is higher than Ximen.  Miao gets to Ximen through Ximen’s mistress and offers 50 gold pieces,  which Ximen thinks it’s not worth of the effort.  When Ximen is offered for 1000 gold pieces, he settles the case and splits money with Xia Official,  then， the murder is free.
