    有人曾說過，聽英語歌曲也可以幫助學英文。來美已經20多年了，可英文的水平還 是很差。記得剛剛來的時候，周末到商場買菜，就連問價錢的簡單英文都不會。這使自己很著急也很生氣。所以在打工的時候，白天去上班，晚上就去夜校補習英 文。可是在工作了一天之後，到了晚上學習的效果並不好。所以在聽課的時候經常會打盹。這樣一來， 聽課的效果就不很差。沒辦法隻好去利用周末的時間去複習和寫作業。
 後 來去社區大學去學習，記得當時有一個年齡很大的老師給我們上課時，曾經教唱過一首英文歌曲。名字叫“My way"...當時自己並沒有認真的學唱那首歌曲，心裏想的時如何抓緊時間複習考試的內容。所以對於那首歌隻記住了幾句歌詞。光陰似箭，在幾年的時間裏， 一邊打工一邊學習，周末去圖書館複習。查單詞，背複習題，忙得簡直就象腳打後腦勺。還好經過了幾年的努力後，終於畢業了 。可是在學
習期間，花了很多的時間學專業知識，所以英文的水平還是很差。在工作的時候，我的老板對我的影響很大，她不但知道餐飲方麵的知識，而且對花卉的名字也很清楚。還有她知道不少英文歌曲。所以自己就會在閑暇之時，也會聽點英文歌曲。
有 一次去一個小商店買東西時，發現了一個兒童歌曲的CD,自己就買了回來。聽了幾遍後，覺得很好。（很遺憾的是，即沒有記住歌詞，也不會唱那些歌。）因為英 文歌曲並不那麽容易學。後來在一個人總結學習英文的體會裏，她說到大量的讀書會幫助提高學英文，還有看電視聽廣播也是學英文的一個良好途徑。此外聽英文歌 曲也會有幫助。。。

If not himself, then he has naught
To say the things he truly feels and not the words of one who kneels
The record shows I took the blows and did it my way!
