Celebrity Get The Look: Becky G Makeup Look At The 2015 Latin Billboard Awards
On the red carpet Thursday night, Becky stunned in a Charbel Zoe dress and Covergirl glam. We caught up with Becky's makeup artist Etienne Ortega, to learn exactly how she created the look:
"For the Latin Billboard Awards, Becky G and I decided on a rosy gold look with nude lips and a dramatic, over the top lash to match her stunning dress," Ortega said.
The beauty pro prepped Becky's skin using TruBLEND Foundation in Creamy Beige ($8). "I find that the best brush for perfect coverage is the Beauty Blender," she added.
"I made sure to highlight her cheekbones, using a FixStick Concealer ($8) in multiple shades so I was able to contour and highlight around her jawline and cheekbones."
After her base was in place Ortega turned her attention to the eyes. "Becky has these big, beautiful, brown eyes and in order to complement her rose gold dress I created a soft yet smoky look using bronzes and browns," Etienne said.
With Becky Ortega always does a cat eye. The artist used Intensify Me! Liquid Eyeliner ($8). To give the sensation of a thick dark lash she used the Super Sizer Mascara.
"I applied the mascara to the top lashes, twirling the wand as I pulled through to comb the lashes from root to tip. I applied three coats to add to the drama, and finished with a coat to the lower lashes," Ortega explained.
To complete Becky's look I used Lip Lava in a beautiful nude/pink ($8).
