2015 Golden Globes fashion: The 14 worst dressed stars
All props in the world to "Gone Girl" star Rosamund Pike for hitting the Golden Globes red carpet a mere five weeks after giving birth, but perhaps a white gown with no apparent means of support and gaping cut-outs at the waist might not have been the best instinct?
The otherwise ravishing English actress in Vera Wang hits the top of our list for worst dressed, followed closely behind by "Togetherness" star Amanda Peet in a depressingly droopy J. Mendel gown the color of the winter sky and "The Imitation Game" star Keira Knightley in a butterfly-print Chanel dress with an infantile bib and petticoat trim. (Yes, we know Knightley is pregnant, but as the face of Chanel, she could have done better. She could have done better at Macy's.)
Golden Globes co-host Tina Fey, who rocked a tuxedo toward the end of the show, started it all wrong, showing up on the red carpet in an Antonio Berardi dress with a weird bell-shaped skirt, while "Scandal" star Kerry Washington's two-toned Mary Katrantzou gown looked unpleasantly stiff. "Arrow" star Katie Cassidy appeared to be a "Dynasty" extra; "Girls" star Jemima Kirke a refugee from "Argo," the fake sci fi movie, not the actual film; and "The Affair" star Ruth Wilson a '70s housewife out for a night of fondue and key-swapping.
But those are just our initial thoughts. Click through the slideshow and let us know if we're being too harsh — or not harsh enough.
