I was born in June

I am a june bug

June Bug makes no promise to a butterfly

For fear of its life being gulped alive

 

My time is only 60 minutes

And half of it has gone by

I will spend the other half

Searching for a bug alike

 

I found one, just like me

Except with 10 minutes left

O june bugs, lighten your wings and fly high

Together we'll swing into our next life
