雪

 

一夜風淒切
The wind cuts sharp and cold

 

千山鳥飛絕
No birds remain in flight

 

To regard the frost and the boughs
要看那枝頭的霜色

 

One must have a mind of winter
須懷冬情結

 

是誰駕著孤舟
Who is it steering the skiff

 

獨對那寒江雪
Facing the cold river’s snow

 

The lovely snow are cold and deep
那可愛的深沉和冷冽

 

And easy to forget
有誰能常記得

 

想起那個春風夜
I recall that night of spring breeze

 

梨花也似這般激烈
When pear blossoms raged fiercely

 

With it every branch big
花兒豐盈了枝葉

 

With it bent every twig
花兒壓彎了枝節

 

江雪何年初照月
When did the snow first shine upon the moon

 

江畔何人初見雪
Who by the riverbank first beheld the snow

 

And, he beholds nothing there
江天一片清白

 

Nothing that is not there is there
是萬物同在的空缺

 

人生都在天地間
Human life unfolds between heaven and earth

 

都是無心踏雪客
All are unintentional travelers treading snow

 

Like as the waves make towards the pebbled shore
正如波浪奔向石岸邊

 

So do our minutes tick
我們的時鍾未停歇
