馬頭凳(horse-head bench)

花了一天的時間，做了一個馬頭凳。凳的材料是從homedepot買來的spf木頭：4x4的木頭做馬的身體，2x6的板子做3個凳麵和馬頭，腿是2x4的木頭。

該凳可以做為換鞋凳放在門廳或者給有小朋友的家裏讓孩子騎木馬玩耍。

 

 

補遺篇：2021年我把此作品英文介紹投稿到我們省的木工協會，在2021年四月號的會刊上的會員的“Show & Tell ”板塊發表：

Horse-head bench: This bench was made in the summer of 2019 for kids to play and ride. The bench body was made of 4”X4” cedar and the others are pine.

Four legs and the body are connected through floating tenons with wood glue. The seat tops were fastened to the body with counter-sink screws and flushed wood plugs. Horse-head was connected to the body with floating tenons and reinforced with wood screws.

Dimension: 4ft Long, 12” tall, 9”X9” for three seat tops, 22” for horse-head height.

No finish on this bench and just hand-sanding after construction.
