The MERS effect

On any given sunday, the area around Suwon Haengung and Hwaseong Walls are usually teeming with tourists. Since the spread of MERS, the streets have become deserted,and the quaint cafes and eateries that normally attracted hordes of customers have been left empty. At the height of sunday lunch hour, I found myself the only diner at a very popular restaurant, and the food was still good. The traditional martial arts demonstration normally held outside the Haenggung Palace was cancelled due to lack of spectators, but at least  Spider Man made an appearance. Have to hand it to the guy though; it couldn't have been easy wearing that costume in 30 degrees celsius weather.
