My weight shot up to 145.2 lbs from 142.4 yesterday. All
that chocolate-munching wasn't free, I guess. This week, I
was very active, doing one 11-mile run and 11-mile bike-ride
on Tue and Thu each and a 17-mile biking on Fri. My muscles
were still sore this morning.
I did my weight routine before heading out at around 9:00am.
The sun was out and I kept a pace of around 8:30 toward the
bay, trying a big circle to see how far I could go. I slowed
down after entering the hills around mile 8.
Again, it was painful to run slow. Speed only picked up a little
after back on the levee. I could've walked but felt I could
carry on and that's what I did. I finished 13.1 miles at a pace
of 8:52. This was almost 1min off my record pace and most
parts of the run were not pleasant. I felt thankful all the same.
I lost 5 lbs in water and fat and felt I needed recovery more
than previously. It might be because I exercised more this
week. Coffee, chocolate, and Korean foods are my friends.
