Bull-Bear Index and the market trend （9/7/2012)

The Bull-Bear Index (BBI) is about the trend of stock market, normalized to the range of -100 to 100 indecating the strongest bearish and bullish market, respectively.

Historically, the BBI reached -94 in Nov. 2008.  Following that month, the BBIs are: -69 (Dec), -56 (Jan), -56 (Feb), -56 (Mar), 0 (Apr), 31(May), and 44(Jun).  We know that SP500 started to rise from bottom since Mar 2009. 

Currently, the monthly, weekly, and daily bull-bear indices (BBI) are 56, 50, and 88, respectively.  Therefore, the current market is still bullish.
