海道相逢 2024年3月18日

北下南上距一千，兩船交錯在中間。

明知姐妹在她船，擦肩而過遙相看。

聖地亞哥始出發，挪威遊輪順南下。

博提芒港暫小停，美荷遊輪向北殺。

 

六百二十公裏處，二十小時皆勻速。

太平洋上兩相遇，姐妹揮手日遮目。

同是卡城赴南美，共為休假解勞累。

兩船南北向不同，港口景點近匹配。

 

Note: Norwegian Dawn sailed south from Santiago while HAL Oosterdam said north from Puerto Montt but both ships “met” at the 620KM locale (mid-point from both Santiago and from Puerto Montt) and at noontime. Knowing that the Dawn carried 10 families from Calgary, we (from Calgary and know a few families very well) saw the ship crossing by and waved from our ship to them in the Pacific Ocean.
