阿根廷, 2.2012 - Estancia La Bamba

We were bored staying at Buenos Aires after spending 5 intensive days in the city, so we decided to drive to the outskirts to check out their famous estancias, meaning ranches, where you are suppose to see the beautiful country side, ride the horse and, if you are lucky, see some folk shows.  We quickly looked up google and picked La Bomba Ranch. The average cost for this kind of ranch is pretty much the same so we went for the customer reviews.  The country side was beautiful with blue skies and luscious greens, it was a pretty drive and relaxing stay.

The heavy rain from the night before made the last part of the road almost impossible to drive through; the owner of the ranch was picking up the guest using his big SUV, but my brave husband powered through the muddy dirty road, it was really worse than this picture showed and was a very rough and courageous ride

Oops, on the way out, we were in trouble. With no Spanish at all, we were a little worried what we did wrong...

 

It turned out that we did not turn on the headlight - but it was the sunniest day, who needs the headlight anyway? The captain cop indicated that I should take a picture of him and his victim. Yeah a thumb up for him. For us - there was no fine so on the way we were out.
