Melbourne is amazing, I am getting way too comfortable here. The hostel is a bit shitty, but cheap, and at least I got my own room, cant imagine to live in dorms again for my age. First day just hanging around the Fed Square, having a glass of white wine, watching school kids xmas performance, and enjoying the great sunlight. Everything is perfect, except my legs are seriously burnt by the famous australian sunlight, now hurts like hell, I had to go to pharmacy燼nd get myself some spray to cool the sunburnt parts down. Should have learned my lesson, this is not the first time, lol.
Supposed to have one drink with Neil at 5:30pm, then it turned out to be whole night drinking and bar hopping, monday night, how crazy that was. We went to the first roof bar, 2 drinks, then the next roof bar, since its totally light outside until maybe 8pm, so its so easy to enjoy some relaxing evening time with great sunlight, which is quite awesome, tough to imagine this in Tokyo. The 3rd place called Section 8, which is super cool, a piece of empty ground in the middle of the city, surrounded by tall buildings, some people put 2 huge containers there, one as bar, the other as toilet, then the coolest spot has been made, brilliant idea. Neil is quite expert of bar hopping, he knows pretty much every cool place in the town, we drank a lot and had dinner in chinatown, talking about Clerks movies... It cant be even better. From 5:30pm to 11:30pm, I dont remember how many places we saw, and eventually we ended up in casino, gambling. I was pretty good at roulette, but no much luck with black jack, Neil was the type of gambler who doesnt really care abt win or lose, just to have fun. So very easily we lost all the chips we had, and for the last drink, this crazy monday night was over.
I had great fun, and I love this city.
