劇情：三十年代襪子大王林熙忠大力振興民族事業。另一襪子大戶關孝廉與林熙忠有競爭，卻和平相處。日本商人吉野急於尋找中國商人合作，關孝廉不肯與之合 作，為此關佩龍和父親發生了多次爭執。關孝廉得知兒子所作決定將家產留給林若寒。關佩龍深感地位不保便勾結日本人。董浩天得知林若寒的處境，找到趙文淵， 帶領兄弟殺到東亞商行，殺死了日本人及關佩龍等人。林若寒變賣家產，將所得錢財捐給抗日組織，與董浩天到香港繼續發展民族企業。趙文淵也去尋找抗日隊伍 了。
《淚灑情緣》講述的是在日寇侵華期間，極富正義感的醫生董浩天與富家女林若寒，陰險狡詐的公子哥關佩龍之間的愛恨情仇，同時也體現了他們救國於危亡之際的抉擇與掙紮。
劇中郭珍霓飾演的林若寒本是林家千金小姐，遭人陷害家破人亡，而後又陷入了不幸的婚姻，在種種迫害下，她以自己的自尊、自強苦苦的抵抗著各種惡勢力，在掙脫了束縛後敢於尋求屬於自己的真愛，在動蕩的年代重振家業。
主演過《奶娘》、《媽媽為我嫁》等多部年代大戲的實力女星郭珍霓，在新戲《淚灑塵緣》中再度苦情一把，本身鎮上大戶人家的千金小姐，在遭遇家庭變故後，麵 臨著逃亡追殺，而後忍辱嫁給了自己的仇人，為的是替家人報仇，誰知卻陷入了另一個深淵。據悉，該劇開拍不到一周，女主角郭珍霓就經受了淩辱、逃亡、追殺、 被虐，而這僅僅是開始。劇中郭珍霓飾演的角色也從一個側麵反映了中國舊時代女性的悲慘命運
