Sting的格萊美獲獎歌曲選聽

    我在《The Art of Noise - conversations with great songwriters》這本書中讀到的另一個音樂家是英國的Sting。我們對Sting多少都有些了解，不記得是哪一年了，我在文學城博客中看到一個“Englishman in New York"的帖子，那是我們熟知的一首Sting的歌曲。

    Sting的歌唱生涯是從"The Police" band開始的，八十年代初Police一舉拿下六座格萊美大獎，之後Sting作為solo singer相繼又獲得過十次格萊美獎。下麵表格是來自維基百科的"List of awards and nominations received by Sting"。

先貼一個Sting在Police Band時期的獲獎歌曲 - "Every Breath You Take"

1986年獲四項格萊美提名的Sting album《The Dream of the Blue Turtles》中的兩首歌曲 - "If You Love Someboday Set Them Free" and "Love Is the Seventh Wave"

為Sting贏得1987和1988兩座格萊美獎的電影"Bring on the Night" - documented the formation of Sting's solo band, and his first concert in France.

Sting獲1992格萊美的"The Soul Cages" 專輯歌曲

1994年Sting因專輯《Ten Summoner's Tales》獲得六項格萊美提名，並最終贏得了兩座大獎，而這首專輯歌曲"If I Ever Lose My Faith in You" 也贏得"Best Male Pop Vocal Performance" 。
