　　校園歌曲誕生於上個世紀70年代中期的台灣各大學校園，獨特的“通俗歌謠體”體栽。音樂結構短小精悍，旋律簡潔樸實、清新爽朗，具有濃鬱的鄉土氣息和時代感。它不論寫景物，寫風月還是寫愛情，在文字意境方麵都給人以美感，散發出淳樸的鄉土氣息，是台灣青年學生求新、求變和熱愛祖國傳統文化藝術的生動表現。校園歌曲表現出年輕人的蓬勃朝氣、青春活力以及他們那富有詩意的浪漫氣息。

　　台灣校園歌曲開始流行於大陸是在80年代中期，親切、上口、舒坦。跟大陸當時的音樂曲調是不一樣的，也就給了當時的人們一種前所未有的新鮮感。這張專輯錄入的13首歌曲，是上個世紀七十年代末、八十年代初廣為流行的台灣校園歌曲。風格深情、質樸、本色，加上童聲伴唱就更顯自然、清純。

　　很小的時候，就知道祖國有個寶島叫台灣。然而…… 海峽茫茫，歲月漫漫，我們一直以為那裏離我們很遠。關於台灣的音樂，我總忘不了那首著名的二胡曲《台灣人民盼解放》。直到上個世紀八十年代中期，一批悄悄登陸的台灣校園歌曲，突然給了我們耳目一新的驚喜，歌中所表現出來的那些自由無羈、輕鬆浪漫、溫馨甜美、憂鬱傷感都是我們先前未所聞見的，我們知道了那裏也有一片藍藍的天。於是，那些鮮亮的旋律便存留在我們的腦海裏，積澱成又一張“天音老唱片”。但願這張唱片，能成為化幹戈為玉帛、血濃於水、音息相通的深情呼喚。
　　這張專輯錄入的13首歌曲，是上個世紀七十年代末、八十年代初廣為流行的台灣校園歌曲。主唱的四位歌手中羅海英已為大家所熟悉，另外兩位歌手倪亞平、謝靜則是第一次參加“老唱片”的演唱，但他們的演繹仍保持著“老唱片”的風格。深情、質樸、本色、加上童聲伴唱就更顯自然、清純。
