First Day in First Grade

It was Keke's first day at School.  I sent her to the bus stop at the intersection closeby in the moring around 8:30AM.

Keke was excited for her first day at school. She could hardly wait for the bus. In the meantime, she ran around the bushes for several loops. The bus came a few minutes behind schedule. When Keke saw other kids getting on the bus one by one, she felt a little out of the place, "that is it?!", she yelled. I thought she might expect more.

I saw her step on the orange bus, with the name tag hanging on her backpack. Then the bus drove away.

In the late afternoon, I went to school to pick her up. Keke had lunch at school. Keke repeated to me what her teacher told her, "you have five minutes left".  These kids must have waited in the line for the lunch.

"We have milk, peach, banana, chicken nugget, ..", Keke told me. But there were so many food and few time, Keke had to threw most of them away.

The next day Keke asked to pack for her own lunch.
