If there are 1000 monkeys who bot this dog in the past year, guess how many of them are unhappy right now, and are swearing that once this dog comes back a little, they will get out at break-even. (the answer - looking at this chart, 999 monkeys are in the red right now, some apparently on this board :)

once some of the smarter ones realize the bounce may never come in the foreseeable future (based on the dwindling demand, this is very likely), it will push the price further down, making all the remaining monkeys in the red, causing more pain, forcing more to bail at lower and lower prices.
