About ROTC

 I knew a boy who joined ROTC in a famous college. After the freshmen year, he did not like it, so he withdrew from ROTC. There is no penalty to withdraw within one year. To join ROTC, you must commit to service in army after you graduate from college (you can continue to graduate school). The nice thing is that ROTC will pay your tuition plus stipend each month. Each week you need to attend the training activity organizing by ROTC. Sometime it is very tough because you need to get up very early just like you are in army. However, if it is not in war time, it might be good for boys.
