漂白夜色的太陽，衝淡血色的雨水。

第一次知道Sting是從一場音樂會的錄像上，清楚地記得那是一場為愛滋病募捐的演出，演出中他與Phil Collins合作唱出了那首膾炙人口的Every Breath You Take。當時就被他那高亢的嗓音，嫻熟的吉他技巧所震撼，從那之後的二十多年裏，俺一直都是他忠實的粉絲。
在Fragile這首歌的錄像裏，Sting不修邊幅地挽著的袖口、赤足如地，一改從前的高亢，僅以一把吉他伴與輕聲的吟唱，小心如害怕要打碎一隻貴重的水晶杯。歌者那沙啞的嗓音傳染給聽眾以淒涼；清澈至極的琴聲令人覺著、歌者撥動的似乎並非琴弦，而是再經不起任何創傷般脆弱的玻璃絲，順著歌者那蠕動的指尖，散發出的是一種無奈與哀愁。從始至終歌唱和伴奏渾然一體，讓人搞不清究竟是吉他伴歌還是歌伴吉他。
