　　1963年夏天，17歲的Baby全家一同到度假中心度暑假，與完全不同生活背景的dancer Johnny邂逅。87年一部《熱舞17（Dirty Dancing）》意想不到地掀起了全球旋風，Patrick Swayze飾演的Johnny那看似吊兒啷當卻又深情款款的眼神，擄獲了所有女性，希望自己能取代小卷毛Baby，和他共享dirty dancing的性感浪漫，融化在他的胸膛中，可說是一部小成本創超高票房，小兵立大功的經典代表之一。《Dirty dancing》不僅帶動了的舞蹈風潮外，電影原聲帶更創下了驚人的銷售量，獲得專輯榜排行冠軍，其中Bill Medley和Jennifer Warnes深情對唱的《(I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life》登上了Billboard冠軍寶座，獲得Grammy最佳團體演唱獎、奧斯卡最佳電影歌曲、金球獎最佳電影歌曲，堪稱為大家心目中傳達愛意的抒情經典代表；男主角Patrick Swayze主唱的《She’s Like The Wind》順利拿到排行#3、Eric Carmen的《Hungry Eyes》也打入了#4，都是大家而熟能詳因戲而大紅的單曲，而劇中許多60年代的經典如The Contours62年#3的暢銷金曲《Do You Love Me》88年再度進榜、The Ronettes63年亞軍曲《Be My Baby》以及Mickey & Sylvia57年Black Single冠軍曲《Love Is Strange》等，都因電影而再度走紅。Dirty Dancing在80年代末期的娛樂流行史上留下了舉足輕重的一頁。
