ladies lunch

Today is really cold, very dry and windy. I had a lunch with several lady friends. This gethering is for cheering up Jan since her husband just passed away. I met  her mom the first time. She came from China. She was here after the funeral. As she said, in the old chinese tradition, the white hair people shouldn't attend the black hair people's funeal. I felt a little sad. What is more important to say good bye to your love one than follow the stupid rule. Jan is very strong mind lady, and she already went back work and try to make family just as normal as possible.I wish the best for this family.
