Call of the Wild II

Luck was not always out of our way, and sometimes, even people like me managed to see wild animals.

We saw two whales send us off with a beautiful jump at Seward port while we were having our first meal (be specific, it is dinner at 1am our time) at the fine dining hall, which is very rare according the captain.

My friend was even able to see humpback whales bubble netting and breaching on her shore excursion trip which is absolutely a life time experience.

We saw seals lying on the huge white floating ice at College Fjord ,which I had mistaken as dirty ice until they jumped into the water when we got closer.

We saw eagles, lots of eagles ... and I did capture some flying shots.

We saw salmons in clear clear ocean water.

We saw a black bear, even though that was just a brief meeting, and I only managed to capture his rear end in my camera.

And we saw windsurfers. People are animals, and windsurfers are people with wild hearts who are constantly longing for, and capable of seeking after the ceaseless excitement. To me, they are qualified as wild animals...

Note: Windsurfers I know are not wild animals. They are advantageous yet refined people with a brave heart and strong character. But the bus driver did call those windsurfers surfing on 40 degree water crazy ....
