A serene Maharishi but his comments caused John Lennon to lose his cool
Thus ended The Beatles' brief dalliance with the Maharishi. Or, at least, so it was widely believed.
The Maharishi always disputed this highly unedifying version of events.
In his one public pronouncement on the matter, he insisted that they were "too unstable and weren't prepared to end their Beatledom".

In 1968, they sought out Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, the leading teacher in the Hindu study of Vedic knowledge and transcendental meditation. The Beatles flew to the Himalayas and learned how to meditate. Depending on whom you ask, they either left of their own volition or were asked to leave by their teacher. Regardless, Lennon was so upset and disillusioned with the experience that he supposedly wrote the song "Sexy Sadie" about the teacher. The Beatles' time in India with Maharishi allowed them to write most of the White Album, while studying under his teaching. Their disappointment came when they discovered rumors of his sexual advances on Mia Farrow and other women, but some of the Beatles renounced such allegations later in life. However, in a book called Lennon Remembers, John Lennon recounts the reason they left: "Yeah, there was a big hullabaloo about him trying to rape Mia Farrow or trying to get off with Mia Farrow and a few other women, things like that."
As John re-told the event in an interview, his wife Yoko interjected, "You were expecting too much from him."

Here we see the Spiritual Battle Frontier between traditional Christianity and So called New Age Movement (based and developed on Eastern and Secular Spiritual Practice, including Buddhism佛教 and Hinduism, etc. ), leading an era of Hippies, especially in the Western Society by causing many youths to swing off or/and even rebel from their parents' roots of believing system.
