Transfer PD while 485 pending

My employer filed I-140 in 2005 under EB-3 citing the position did not require a master degree even though I had one. in July 2007 my lawyer submitted I-485 and it has been pending ever since. Now I have nearly 8 years of work experience and two master degrees but still stuck behind EB-3 PD, and my employer refuses to resubmit another I-140 under EB-2. If I change job and the new employer agrees to sponsor under EB-2, would I be able to transfer the EB-3 PD to EB-2, assuming the first I-140 is not withdrawed?
