Peter Lynch said: I never cut a loss if I think the stock has a potential
to grow. If I cut loss, many of my stocks would sell multiple times. Finally
these stocks return 10-20 folds in 3-5 years.
It is painful when market is down. But if one cuts the loss at the nadir; his
loss will be huge. Personally I do not think that cutting the loss is a
good idea when market is down, except the company is going to be bankrupt.
To buy a good company or value stocks is most important for stock investment.
