My old car to a good cause

The  radio preset in our family car is set to our local NPR station. Before cellphones, we spent lots of listening to it on way to or from activies. Unavoidably,  we hear the name of people we know, who pledged their support.

The other day, I texted my daughter that we donated our old family car to the station. She practically grew up with the car.  We took her home from the hopsitaho with it.  On the way, we had to stop at a gas station because we could not figure out why she was crying. 

Since then, it has driven her in every swimming lesson, dance lesson, piano lesson, library visit, pumpkin patch, zoo outing, art gallery, museum visit. 

 

She even attempted to learn driving with it, unsuccessfully.
