Once upon a time, my daughter asked me what is leadership

Once upon a time when my daughter was in high school, she told me that she had been struggling for a few days to define what leadership is, and what leadership means. She asked me about my opinion. I could not recall  my answer at all, but I do clearly remember how she defined leadership. To her, leadership means to server others, to motivate others to do their best. Sounds like cliché, but it is all original.
