我說：
老公帶孩子們滑雪去了，我在酒店享受著自由的生活。
打開放置很久的Inheritance，開始閱讀這本厚厚的大書，想知道騎龍者最後的結局。我讀得很慢，一字一句，不知是英文的關係，還是閱讀功能的退化，總之我的閱讀速度比女兒差遠了。
上午讀書，下午散步，在寒冬的亂草堆中尋找美的痕跡。看到幾位老者，牽著小狗，舉著相機，悠哉遊哉地打發著時光，我就這麽加入了他們的行列。
女兒回來了，滑雪滑得太開心了，嚷嚷著第二天繼續滑雪。老公與兒子誤上了黑道（高難度），跌打滾爬地下了山。兒子年輕，經得起摔打，老公的鬥誌給摔完了。
“明天一早回家”，老公一言拍板，將我們的三日遊變成了兩日遊。
兒子說：
Today was the day we went skiing at North Star at Tahoe. My sister went into ski class while dad and I went for free skiing. My mom stayed in the hotel. Skiing conditions were not ideal; there was almost no natural snow cover and you could see the grass and dirt in a lot of places. The trails open were the ones covered with manmade snow. Snow condition was alright, we went down many blue (medium difficulty) trails and accidentally went down a black diamond which we tripped through.
We skied until my sister finished her lessons, and went back to Reno. We decided to go to Circus Circus after dinner. Dinner ended up taking a lot longer than we expected because the Silver Legacy Buffet was closed, so we went to El Dorado’s buffet, now with double the line. We ended up waiting for one hour, leaving limited time to play. Despite that, Hermione won 3 stuffed animals and we watched a hula hoop acrobat performance. The performance wasn’t groundbreaking, but there was a lot of skill involved as the person managed to spin at least 12 hula hoops at the same time.
We had a lot of fun in Reno, and tomorrow will be a long day driving back.

BREAKING NEWS!
Today a spy named Hermione Ma, or, me, trailed an unsuspecting and innocent Kenneth Ma. In the morning, due to some ski lessons, I was unable to spy, but I wheedled some info out of Mister Ma later. Pondering on more spy techniques and when I should use them, I ate through two main courses in the lunch. When my dad picked me up, Kenneth bragged about how he could go down a black diamond trail without falling down. (By sliding on his butt. I even saw traces of snow on it.) When we all went to the Flavors Buffet, it was closed, so we spend an hour to get into the El Dorado buffet. I followed Kenneth around. He got ice cream, ravioli, and more ice cream. After dinner, we all went to Circus Circus. I won a Santa bear, a flower, and a $100 pillow.
