Some Reflections after Watching “Shi Shui Nian Hua”

At the very beginning before I even started to watch the Chinese TV series “Shi Shui Nian Hua”, I wondered what it means.  I thought it meant that time flows like water, one-directional, non-stop, sometimes smooth and sometimes turbulent.  After watching the TV series, my understanding has been greatly changed. As Wen said to Mo Mo at the end, “She came, she will leave, just like before”. That’s what “Shi Shui Nian Hua” means in essence.  It is the destiny.  Uncle Qi told Wen, “I have waited for my entire life and finally I met her. But I don’t know what that really means. I just wish you not to do that”.
