how long does it take to renew Canadian passport in US

Hi All,

Anyone knows that how long it takes to renew Canadian passport when you apply by mail from state?

From the website, it says 4 weeks in general... but I really wanna know the real case if anyone renewed passport previously.

And another question, if the passport expires, would that cause problem when you renew TN1 visa?
