將“中國製造”向“中國服務”轉變

－－從IBM亮麗的報表說起

在經濟危機影響日益擴大的當下, IBM帶給我們一絲陽光！公司第４季度淨收入超出預期，增加１２％。同時前幾日宣布，在美國中部州（Lowa)增加招聘１３００雇員！看來服務業將成為危機中的熱點。

本文以電子商務為例，電子商務是利用現代化互聯網技術和電子商務的理念，將傳統的服務行業“搬”到互聯網上，簡稱為“電子服務”。眾多經濟學者認為，發展現代電子服務業將是引領社會經濟走出金融危機的重要手段。
專家指出，麵對金融危機，服務業的發展不可能沿襲過去的模式，一些新興的手段必須引入到服務業的發展中來，其中電子商務是最重要的手段。調研機構IDC中國研究院日前發布白皮書顯示，即使受金融危機影響，電子商務服務業未來5年仍將處於高速增長周期，並將帶來大量的就業機會。如此眾多的網民，通過網絡表達出的生活服務需求，必將形成一個巨大的市場。而挖掘這一市場，隻能通過電子商務的手段。
可是，這種無產出培育至少三年
服務行業的網絡平台要成熟起來，至少還需要三到五年時間“無收入”運作，同時每年至少保證必要的投入，才能保證整個平台的有效運作。這段大投入、無產出的時間周期給進入生活服務領域的企業提出了近乎苛刻的要求。
分析認為，在當前的經濟環境下，百姓希望能獲取更多實用生活信息，降低生活成本，而商家也期望能更敏銳地把握百姓生活消費的走勢，兩者需求對接。

IBM to Create 1,300 Jobs in Iowa

 

BOSTON (Reuters) - IBM, the world's largest technology services company, plans to open a new computer support center in Iowa, creating up to 1,300 new jobs and defying a trend of widespread corporate layoffs.

The Dubuque facility in a 10-story office building once occupied by now-defunct retailer Roshek's Department Store, will create jobs for high-tech workers at a time when many technology companies are cutting staff.

Workers will provide security services and remote support to IBM customers, helping to maintain computers and software systems primarily located in the United States, IBM said late on Wednesday.

International Business Machines Corp said it plans to employ several hundred people in the facility by the end of this year, following renovations to the top eight floors of the building that it will occupy to make it more energy efficient.

By the end of next year, as many as 1,300 IBM employees will work in the building built in the 1930s, IBM said.

On Tuesday, IBM announced plans to work with Michigan State University to build a software development center in East Lansing, Michigan, that will create up to 1,500 jobs over the next five years.
