我們為何必須合作創業?

Hello Every One,

I found many people in this forum are very helpful to each others, that is great.

I apologize that I am not an expert on Ebay so far, and can not help much on many Ebay issues. But I do hope to create something useful to others in a few years. As you can see, that I am not selling any thing yet, and I do not care about my web hit rate either, I only want to solicit some volunteering participation and feedbacks to improve my online auction sites from time to time. (It is same as people ask ebay questions here!!)

I am very grateful for those who give me feedbacks and suggestions (positive and Negative are all welcomed), Thank you again.

Here is more of my story:

I came to the United States 20 years ago. I had 8 wonderful years in academic studies ( 5 years for my Ph.D degree, and 3 years Post-Doc research). I started my career in pharmaceutical industry, where is a good place to utilize what I have learned to make a good living, and at same time, I also realized that it is hard to realize my personal dream by working alone! I was quite happy that I had the chance to change my career to computer industry at Silicon Valley – which is indeed a good choice made for life. My first start up did not take off partially due to the DOT COM “bubble” burst, but a good lesson has been learned.

On reflection, I am very grateful that I still have the chance to be an entrepreneur. I believe in: ”窮則獨善其身，達則兼濟天下 “. I am not poor, but I am not rich enough to help more people in need either! That is the main driving force for me to start a business, it is also a way for self-expression. People say “Knowledge is Power”, and “Time is Money”. It is only 50% right. I would say: “ Money is Money, Power is power”. If you have one of them, you can truly help more people in need.

Here are some puzzles for life:
When most people are young, they may have time and energy, but no money.
When most people are in middle age, they may have money and energy, but no time.
When most people are old, they may have money and time, but no energy!

Similarly, there are many puzzles for start a business (I should say to grow a business). I will leave this to readers like you to fill them out.

So there is no need to be frustrated for failures. Sometimes, we have to work for a living, at same time if you can afford the risk to grow a new business, please go ahead try it. But I do believe in collective wisdom, if we work together, it might be more productive for success. Again, I welcome your participation in growing a business together!
