A while ago, Mr.小放 and 皮皮牛MM wrote about their cruise experiences in this forum. Their articles gave details about the cruise already, and both of them were very well written. So, I am not going to write too much here. Plus, I am never a good writer in both English and Chinese.
My husband and I went to the five days Caribbean cruise in July, 2004. I had taken cruise in China, and several small ones in U.S before, but I think the Caribbean cruise was the most comfortable one that I have been experienced. I enjoyed it very much.
As usual, I have motion sickness, what a shame. But in the Caribbean cruise, it wasn’t that bad at all. Maybe that was because the ship is big (as big as a regular five star hotel), or I was attracted by the beautiful and fit girls on the ship, and forgot about the sickness. On the other hand, my husband got some sea sick, so he had to stay in the room more often. Fortunately, we got a ocean view room, even it cost a bit more, but it was worthy. We enjoyed viewing the Caribbean ocean though the window. And enjoyed to looked at the Caribbean sunrise and sunset in our own room.
My advise to the friends who are going to take the cruise are:
1. Don’t forget to put the suit (for men) and cocktail dresses in your suitcases before you leave home. The cruise will give you a “captain’s nigh” party, it requires formal clothes for the guests. You don’t want to miss the chance to meet the handsome captain.
2. Take some motion sickness pills with you.
Now, I will share the photos of our Caribbean cruise with you.
