讀書心得

最近在讀Emotional Intelligence （by Daniel Coleman）。是career development 的功課。

 

 

Much evidence testifies that people who are emotionally adept – who know and manage their own feelings well, and who read and deal effectively with other people’s feelings – are at an advantage in any domain of life, whether romance and intimate relationships or picking up the unspoken rules that govern success in organizational politics. People with well-developed emotional skills are also more likely to be content and effective in their lives, mastering the habits of mind that foster their own productivity; people who can not marshal some control over their emotional life fight inner battles that sabotage their ability for focused work and clear thought.

 

 

說謂Effectively deal with other people’s feeling, 大概是見人說人話，見鬼說鬼話的意思吧。

 

YW大概是有這種技術，可惜他在家似乎不用這個技術。說話從不注意我的感受。

 

並不見得會“content with life”. 當麵不說，背後罵娘。

 

總覺得薛寶釵式的人最合適在公司裏混。八麵玲瓏，左右逢源。但是這些詞在中文裏都含有貶義？至多中性。當你評價一個人圓滑，會來事，至少不是褒義。

 

可如今在美國公司混 （可能全世界都一樣），就得學會這一套。
