從vagus迷走神經說漢字優缺

It seems that Chinese version is clear in description, but in fact, the word vagus is both clear and simple, only "trouble" is to learn a new word, which is not a small amount though, tons of new English words formed in exploding speed. So what, science needs precision, English words fit this category so well, why can't we gradually absorb its merit to reform Chinese? Say adopt some consonants like th, tr, etc. Old thing will survive only after constant test and reform.
