Celebrate and its mates

Like many others, I pronounced word celebrate incorrectly by mixing e with I in ce, after realizing what it means, I can master its all definitions with a knack which should be put in future textbooks.
Also I made a comparison with a similar word, liberate, again, I can point out the tricks.
These two words are the very ones for me and for my future readers: we will be liberated and will celebrate. (Plus by no mistake call someone a *********, :)
Keeping in searching, there is a word select, this also can be connected with Chinese...
Associate with collect, we may find that it has more XX than word select,...and less XX in word collate.
By far six words in a row have been reviewed by a special way, if four more added later, it forms a squad, a minimal battle unit.
Let's say lecture, lettuce, we may find how they differ with others in Chinese writing.
Finally, colonial and colonel, the latterˇs job is not to collate because his name is xiao not jiao.
