I missed Lin Yutang\'s biography by his daughter for years.
It is not regret not having got to know him earlier, but by prejudice or ignorance in this method:
Glance over first, peruse later.
Glance over in surface is more close to 疏, 疏可走馬.But it is a premise to be the later--peruse, which is 密, should 密不通風
