Reflection

Words would not describe how I feel after reading the book The Heavenly Man by Brother Yun and Paul Hattaway! 

All our petty concerns and worries pale before his testimonies.  

Yes, our material possessions and our pursuit for more and better have clouded our hearts from seeking for Him only! While in the midst of trials, hardships, difficulties, challenges, slanders, persecutions stand those whose eyes and hearts are upon the Lord! What a blessing it has been for Brother Yun to walk on the narrow path God has chosen for him! What a stark contrast of us lukewarm believers in our cozy homes whose lives are filled with shallow and superficial faith words and claims!  

Without the Word of God, without His Presence, without our steadfast longing for a sweet fellowship with Him, our lives would amount to nothing! 

Lord, remove the vanities that have blinded our eyes; purify us with your living waters; guide us to the innermost corners of your Being with your gentle yet disciplining hands; rest us in the serenity of your pastures; disentangle us from the web of knowledge and cycle of sins so we could bring glories for Your Holy Name!
