Be careful of the things carry in your car

Please be careful about keeping your registration in your car or

anything else that has your address. Especially if you are parking at a

BART station. 

Saturday while my friend was in the city and parked at the Walnut Creek

BART station, her car was broken into. They took stuff like CDs, her car

registration, and garage door opener. When my friend got back, she

reported it to the BART police who wisely helped her contact also the

Vallejo police where she lives. Vallejo police informed her not to enter

her home until they meet her there. Sure enough the thieves had also

broken into her house as well and taken several items. BART police said

this is happening a lot right now so be careful. It may not be your car

that the thieves really want anymore but your home address.
