Donate Tents/Sleeping bags for China Earthquake Relief

As all of you know, the massive 5/12 Sichuan earthquake has left millions of people homeless. There is an urgent need of tents and sleeping bags which is in short supply in China.

The SF Bay Area Chinese community has worked out a deal with United Airlines. The United Airlines has very generously agreed to ship donated goods to China, free of charge.

This Friday May 23rd,volunteers from USTC and SVTN have rented trucks to collect donations of sleeping bags, tents and blankets. We are setting up volunteers in a few large South Bay companies to collect your generous donations.

We strongly encourage everyone to donate blankets, tents, sleeping bags, and other necessity items. Your donations will help provide support, livelihood, and a PEACEFUL DREAM for the kids and families in Sichuan . Let us work together to share our American Dream with those in need!

All donations are welcome, whether used or new. We will set up locations in some large corporations to collect donations on Friday, May23.

Please tightly pack the tents/sleeping bags, better in boxes/bags if possible.
