電影《La La Land》 與插曲City of Stars簡介

2016年由Damien Chazelle導演的音樂劇影片《La La Land》講述的是發生在現代大都市洛杉磯(LA)的故事，Mia（Emma Stone飾演）一心想在好萊塢當上著名演員，Sebastian （Ryan Gosling 飾演）則是一個專注於爵士樂的音樂師，夢想擁有一家屬於自己的爵士樂club，兩人都在LA這個以希望破滅和傷心而著名的城市苦苦追尋夢想，還要辛苦地維持每天的生計，在此過程中二人相遇並相愛，彼此支持。這部音樂劇描述了追逐夢想過程的喜悅和痛苦。最終，兩人都取得了自己最初夢想的成功，但代價是兩人漸行漸遠，已經不在一起了。影片末尾，當Mia與自己的丈夫到一家爵士樂酒吧，二人偶然相遇，Seb演奏完一首他們兩人曾熟悉的曲子，Mia與Seb隔空目光接觸，彼此送上一個會心的微笑，其中的欣慰，遺憾，傷感，不舍，回味，惺惺相惜，祝福，各種複雜心情，盡在不言中。Mia 轉身離去，全劇終。

相愛的人，未必能長相廝守；“相濡以沫，不如相忘於江湖。。。”

本來也許會是另外一個更“美好”的結局，經典的童話故事裏的happily ever after的結局，不過人生沒有假如和如果，不可能重來。。。
