I was in a dancing team when I was an university student, and learned several kinds of dances at that time including Chinese dances. Our Chinese dancing teacher is a professional dancing teacher in an art school. I don't know other 王廣成's dances, but in the videos in this post, I can recognize Chinese dancing steps, Chinese dancing movements since I learned them before.
By the way, I think I am an open minded person. I just hold a different opinion from you. You'd better don't label people when they have the different thoughts.
BeautyYu, have a nice weekend!

I am a certified Zumba Teacher in the states for 2 years. The majority of 王廣成's basic steps are Latin, along with Chinese music and mixed with many Chinese dance elements.
I your post something like this in public, they you would need to keep your mind open for facts and truth, so that you can actually learn. You can keep your opinion too.

Thank you for your feedback. But I still think this particular version is Chinese dance. Even though 王廣成 was trained with Zumba Fitness and he is a Certified Zumba teacher, it doesn't mean the dance he taught is a variation of American Zumba. Zumba is mixed dances with Latin dances according to its definition. It does not include the Chinese dancing for my understandings.
It is not a big deal for this point. You can keep your opinion.
BeautyYu,have a nice weekend!

I only refer this particular version, the 王廣成's style. 王廣成 came to the states and trained with Zumba Fitness (The Zumba company) and is a Certified Zumba teacher. His movement, as most Zumba dances, have many elements based on hip-hop and Latin dances like samba, salsa, merengue and mambo. But since he is also a Chinese Folk dancer of many years, so he also naturally mixed Zumba with the Chinese movements and music.
Also, Zumba started in the early 1990's and is based on Latin dances, but it is really a mix of various international styles, like Bollywood, American swing, etc., sometimes Chinese YangGe... This is called the Zumba Mix, or Fusion.

Thanks BeautyYu for your comments. But I don't think "廣場舞" is a variation of American Zumba, it is Chinese dancing. Because most "廣場舞" have Chinese dancing movements, Chinese music and most dancing people are Chinese.
Anyway, you are welcome to discuss, have a nice week!

This is precisely the Chinese localized variation of American Zumba! It's just that the Chinese moms donot have the indoor gym for the dance, that is why it is called "廣場舞":).
